Description
This medicine is used for the symptomatic treatment of: headaches, migraine pain, dental pain, neuralgia, period pain, rheumatic, muscular and back pain, feverishness and symptoms of cold and flu
- Do not give to children under 12 years
- You should not take Ibuprofen during the first 6 months of pregnancy unless advised by your doctor, speak to your doctor before taking this medicine if you are breastfeeding
- You must contact a doctor if your symptoms worsen or do not improve after 3 days for children and adolescents between 12 and 18 years and after 10 days for adults
DO NOT USE
- if you are allergic to ibuprofen or any of the other ingredient of this medicine (listed in section 6)
- if you have or ever had a stomach ulcer, perforation or bleeding
- if you have had a worsening of asthma, skin rash, itchy runny nose or facial swelling when previously taking ibuprofen, aspirin or similar medicines
- if you have had a gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation, related to previous use of NSAIDs
- if you are taking other NSAIDs
- if you are taking more than 75 mg of aspirin a day. If you are on low-dose aspirin (up to 75 mg daily) speak to your doctor or pharmacist before you take this medicine
- if you have severe liver or kidney problems
- if you have heart problems, high blood pressure or blood coagulation disorder
- if you have breathing difficulties
- if you are in the last 3 months of pregnancy
- more than 3 tablets in 24 hours
- a double dose to make up for a tablet you have forgotten to take
- more than the recommended dose or for a longer duration of treatment than recommended
