Used for

Senna is a natural laxative that is commonly used to relieve constipation and promote bowel movements. It works by stimulating the muscles in the intestines, which helps to move stool through the digestive system. Senna is generally considered safe for short-term use, but should not be taken for an extended period of time without consulting a healthcare provider.

How to take

Take Senna Max as directed by your healthcare provider. Generally, the recommended dose is 1-2 tablets before bedtime with a full glass of water. Do not exceed the recommended dose. Senna Max is typically used for short-term relief of constipation. It may take 6-12 hours to produce a bowel movement.

How long to work

Senna typically works within 6 to 12 hours after taking it orally, but the exact timing may vary depending on factors such as dosage, individual metabolism, and overall health. It is important to follow recommended dosages and consult a healthcare professional if you have any concerns about its effectiveness.

Side effects

Common side effects of Senna include abdominal pain, cramping, diarrhea, and electrolyte imbalance. Long-term use can also lead to dependence on the medication. In rare cases, allergic reactions like skin rashes or difficulty breathing may occur. It is important to consult a doctor before using Senna to avoid any potential side effects.
