Description
Verrugon is used to treat verrucae (plantar warts) in adults. Salicylic Acid works by softening the hard skin for it to be removed more easily
- Do not use this medicine on children
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
- If the verruca is not removed after 12 weeks or if acute pain or discomfort occurs during treatment seek medical advice
DO NOT USE
- if you are allergic to Salicylic Acid or any of the other ingredients in this medicine (listed in section 6)
- on or near the face, neck, areas where two skin areas may touch or rub thogether or the anal or genital region
- if you have diabetes, circulatory problems or problems with the nerves in your hands or feet unless recommended by your doctor
- if the verruca is infected or the surrounding skin is inflamed or broken
- on broken skin, moles, birthmarks, warts with hair growing out of them, red edges or are an unusual colour or any other skin lesions
