Description
Aspirin Tablets are used to reduce the likelihood of further heart attacks or strokes in patients with a previous history of these conditions, when taken regularly
- Do not give to children under 16 years of age unless your doctor tells you to
- If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor for advice before taking this medicine
- You must talk to a doctor if you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 3 days
DO NOT USE
- if you are allergic (hypersensitive) to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inammatory drugs (NSAIDs) e.g. ibuprofen, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine (listed in section 6)
- if you have or have had a stomach ulcer
- if you have a condition where your blood does not clot properly (e.g. haemophilia)
- if you are taking medicines to thin your blood such as warfarin
- if you have or have had gout
